I am happy to inform you that your new Microsoft ID has been created and you should have received an email separately from Microsoft which contains your temporary login credential.
Please look for it and follow these below procedures to activate your new account and enabling Multi-Factor Authentication as soon as possible.

1. You will received an email notification in your personal email inbox.
Please click the RED button

2. Please enter the temporary password provided to you. In this example: Yot30807 |

3. Click Next

4. Choose Mobile app. Then select your country from the pull down menu. Then enter you mobile phone number.
Make sure that the Method button is selected.
Click Next.

5. Select the radio button as shown.
Then click Set up
|
|
|
6. Before proceeding with the next procedure in your laptop, you need to download Microsoft Authenticator app in your smartphone (IOS or Android). See left side for clue of the logo in mobile phone.

7. After you install and open your mobile app, choose add an account and choose “Work or schook account”
Then click Next.
An approved notification will be sent to your mobile. Click Approved.

8. For additional security verification, choose your country in the pull down menu, enter your mobile number and click Done.

9. Enter your temporary password as your current password.
Then enter your new password (final password). Enter your password again to confirm. Please note that your password should be complex (combination of capital letters, lower caps, numbers and symbols. It should be at least 8 characters long).

10. Then, activation of you RI account is completed. |

11. This is how your Microsoft panel will look like. It contains various applications that RI has assigned to you. When you click a certain app icon, say BOX, it will immediately open in another window and there is no need to enter the password since we are using a Single Sign-On (SSO) system |
Note #1:
MFA does not work perfectly with Desktop Outlook 2010 & 2013. A patch file is needed to fix the issue. You need to log-out to Desktop Outlook 2010 or 2013 on your computer first before starting the registration process. Download the batch file - EnableModernAuth.bat (click on the blue words to download the file). After downloaded, open the file and then press any key to close the dialog box and is it DONE.
